The Auckland Esperanto Society meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30am at Reuben Café, 229/231 Symonds Street, Eden Terrace. Check out the Facebook page for details. Wellington

A group meets in Crofton Downs (about 5km from the city centre) at 7:30pm on the second Monday of every month (February to November).

Congresses

There is a national congress organised each year, sometimes held in Australia to combine with the Australian Esperanto Association’s national congress and summer school.

The New Zealand Esperanto Association is able to provide financial support for members wanting to attend local or Australian events.

There are numerous international Esperanto conferences everywhere in the world.  For a list, refer eventaservo.org.  The New Zealand Esperanto Association is able to provide financial support for members wanting to attending international events.

The International Esperanto Association (Universala Esperanto-Asocio) (UEA) promotes Esperanto across the world, organises events including the biggest annual world congress, and issues various publications.  Anyone is eligible to join UEA.  Either sign up at uea.org/info/en/membreco or contact us and we can process your payment for you.
