The New Zealand Esperanto Association organises regular events for people to come together to use and learn Esperanto. All levels welcome!

Auckland

Meetings are organised at different times and at different locations. Contact us and we can send you information on the next meeting. The University of Auckland Esperanto club meets regularly. Check out their Facebook page.

Christchurch

A group of Esperanto-speakers meets up regularly.

Masterton

The Masterton Esperanto Club meets at 2pm every Wednesday between February and December.

Tauranga/Rotorua

A small group from this region meets in Tauranga.

Wellington

The Wellington group meets beween February and December on the second Wednesday of every month in Crofton Downs.

Annual congress

There is a national congress organised each year, sometimes held in Australia to combine with the Australian Esperanto Association’s national congress and summer school.

International conferences

There are numerous international Esperanto conferences everywhere in the world.  For a list, refer eventoj.hu. The  International Esperanto Association (Universala Esperanto-Asocio) (UEA) promotes Esperanto across the world, organises events including the biggest annual world congress, and issues various publications.  Anyone is eligible to join UEA.  Either sign up at uea.org/info/en/membreco or contact us and we can process your payment for you.

Financial support

The New Zealand Esperanto Association welcomes applications for financial support from people who would like to attend national or international Esperanto events.
