Educational institutions in New Zealand which teach Te Reo Māori are finding that their language courses are becoming more and more popular. The Dominion Post reported (2018-06-24) that the number of enrolments has increased in the last three years, to the extent that they are having to train more teachers and run more classes. Not just elementary courses but also more advanced courses are increasing. People of all ages and varied background are keen to learn Māori.
The Universal Esperanto Association supports the right of every human being to learn whatever languages they wish, in particular it supports the conservation of minority languages in all parts of the world.
